We are a FAMILY practice. Ronnie has been an attorney in Lubbock for over 20 years. Since 2005, 2 of his children, Lanisa and Austin, completed law school and have joined his law practice. Ronnie's wife (and Lanisa and Austin's mother) works as the office manager in the practice.

Ronnie is the founder and senior partner of a West Texas based law firm whose practice areas include general civil litigation in state and federal courts, real estate, business and corporate law, estate planning, probate, and elder care law. Two of his children completed law school and then joined him in practice in 2005. Austin Agnew joined a private oil based business in 2012, and Lanisa Agnew Fitzgerald continues to work in the office on a part-time basis.

Prior to that, Ronnie was an ATTORNEY AT McWhorter, Cobb & Johnson, LLP, Lubbock, Texas (1987-1994; Partner, 1991-1994). As a member of one of the largest and oldest private law firms in Lubbock, he practiced in the area of general civil litigation in state and federal courts, with primary emphasis on insurance defense and banking. He also taught in continuing legal education seminars for the Texas Tech University School of Law and the Texas Association of Defense Counsel.

Born in Denver City, Texas, August 3, 1950; raised on a farm near New Deal, Texas. He married to Kay Behner Agnew (August 19, 1972). He has 3 Children: Lanisa, Austin, Jared. In his free time, he enjoys “gentleman farmer” status on 170 acres near Lubbock, and playing “Pop” to his 4 grandchildren.

Born in San Antonio on September 17, 1977. Raised in Lubbock since 1984. Married Scott Fitzgerald on April 21, 2007. After law school, she worked with a financial services firm in Lubbock years, where she obtained her Series 6, 63, and 26 licenses. Active at Hillside Christian Church, and has one daughter.
